Deposit/Cancellation Policy
New Client Bookings
As a new client at Queens Hair Spa by Rodney Shelton, a booking fee is required when scheduling your appointment. The details are as follows:
- 50% booking fee for cutting and styling
- $100 booking fee for all colour and chemical services
Your deposit is not an additional charge; it is simply held on your account and deducted from your final bill. Please note, the booking fee is forfeited only if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to show up for your appointment, or arrive more than 15 minutes late.
Long Appointment Policy
For any service requiring a booking of more than 3 hours, a $100 booking fee will apply.
This deposit is held on your account and will be applied to your final bill. The only way you would lose your booking fee is if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to show up, or are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to change or cancel your appointment. We ask that you be courteous by providing at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or adjust your services. You can contact us via phone, social media, or email. If we are closed, please leave a message so we can reallocate your time to another client.
If you need to cancel, please call us as soon as possible. A voicemail message is also acceptable.
At Queens Hair Spa by Rodney Shelton, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations within the outlined policy ensure we can offer that time to someone else and help maintain our service standards. We cannot cover the costs of no-shows or late cancellations, as they affect the operation of our business.
The following will apply:
- No-shows will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the total value of the services booked.
- If there are two (2) last-minute cancellations, a cancellation fee will be required before booking your next appointment:
- 50% for cut or styling appointments
- 50% for colour or chemical services
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to allow us to reallocate your appointment time to another client.
If you are running more than 10 minutes late, your service may be shortened, or we may need to reschedule to avoid inconveniencing the next client.
